Is there a screen to check my photos?
Nope, and that's the fun of it. You shoot without stopping to check, then see everything at once later by opening the memory card on your computer or phone.
What do the 8 modes do?
Each one changes how your photo comes out. The knob includes auto balance, flash, black and white, warm, cool and bright.
What memory card does it use?
A 32GB microSD card comes in the box, and it takes cards up to 256GB. Photos save at 8MP, 3264 x 2448.
How is it powered?
It runs on a rechargeable 800mAh lithium-ion battery. It shuts itself off after 30 seconds idle to save charge.
When will it arrive?
About 9 to 16 days from your order, with tracking. Shipping is $8 flat, and free on 2+ items or orders of $70 or more.
What if I don't like it?
Email us within 30 days of delivery. If it's unused and in its original packaging, send it back for a refund (return postage is on you). If it arrived damaged or faulty, we replace or refund it instead.

After two days of testing, here is my evaluation: The camera is very light, it seems like a toy, but other than that it's an "ok" camera. The image surprised me; I thought it would be worse. Even in nighttime tests, the image wasn't bad. For a hobby, for taking photos for fun when you're out and about, it's very cool, I'm enjoying it. You can improve your photography skills with it.

Very light, delicate, seems like it will break easily. The photos are OK, but I was disappointed that the flash only works in the flash function itself. For other effects, it is only possible to take photos in natural light. The image has a pixelated grain, reddish in color, nothing like the grain in the film. It's only worth it for the experience of viewing the photos later and reducing screen time. I had high expectations, haha.

The image quality is VERY poor. My son has a toy camera and it provides similar quality. It's not at all similar to an analog camera. The only similarity is that it has no screen.

How long will my order take to arrive?
We process orders within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery then takes 5 to 10 business days for most US addresses, which works out to roughly 9 to 16 days from when you order. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your parcel ships.
Where do you ship from?
Our fulfilment partners ship from warehouses overseas. That's why delivery takes longer than it would from a domestic retailer.
Can I return it?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, as long as it's unused and in its original packaging. If you've simply changed your mind, return postage is on you. Once we receive it, your refund goes to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Who pays for return shipping?
If the item arrived damaged, faulty or wrong, we cover return shipping and send a replacement or a full refund. If you've changed your mind, you pay the return postage.
How do I start a return?
Email us your order number and we'll send a return address and instructions within one business day. Please don't post anything back before contacting us.
My order arrived damaged. What now?
Email us a photo within 14 days of delivery. We'll replace it or refund you in full, and in most cases you won't need to send the damaged item back.
Where is my order?
You can check it yourself on our tracking page. Enter your order number without the # (so 1001, not #1001) along with the email you used at checkout.
Don't worry if tracking shows nothing for the first week. The first scan doesn't happen until the parcel reaches a sorting hub. An order that hasn't shipped yet can't be tracked at all, so if you ordered in the last day or two there's nothing to find yet.
Most US orders land 9 to 16 days after you order. If it's been longer than that, email help@calmlygoods.com with your order number and we'll chase it.
My tracking hasn't updated. Is my order lost?
Tracking can take up to a week to show its first scan, and that's normal. If there's still no movement 20 business days after dispatch, email us and we'll replace it or refund you in full.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes, as long as it hasn't shipped. Email us as soon as you can. Once tracking is issued we can't stop the parcel, but you can still return it under the 30-day policy.
Will I pay customs or import duties?
If your country charges import duty or tariffs, that cost is set by your customs authority. Check your own rules before ordering.
Is my payment secure?
Checkout runs on Shopify Payments over an encrypted connection. We never see or store your card details.
